Showboat debuts spa; big changes at Hilton
Published: Nov 13, 2008

There's one more reason for visitors to stay at Showboat Casino-Hotel as the Mardi Gras casino will debut its Vive Day Spa & Salon on Saturday, Nov. 15.

The full-service, 3,500 square foot spa features four treatment rooms, three hair, three pedicure and two nail stations, while also offering men's and women's locker rooms with steam and sauna facilities.

"We have guests that come often and want something else to do, and this will be a great escape," says Karen Worman, assistant general manager of the Showboat. "And, of course, we hope to attract new customers, as well. This is something nice for both men and women."

The spa will focus on exotic treatments as guests can purchase services a la carte or indulge in vacation packages that can feature up to six treatments for an inclusive price. Some of its treatments, like the "Detox" package with Arctic Algae body treatment and Mudtherapy body mask are exclusive to Showboat. More
