Krupski, Colasurdo bowl first 800's of the season
By GUY GARGAN For The Press, 609-272-7210
Published: Nov 17, 2008

No one bowled an 800 in The Press 200 Club for the first two months of the season, but defending regular-season champion Geordin Krupski of Newtonville scored an 824 on Nov. 3 to lead the Prize Board. Three-time champion Jim Colasurdo Jr. of Hammonton totaled 802 on the same day. Both scores were at DiDonato's Bowling Center in Hammonton.

Krupski, 22, was previously fifth on the Board. He had games of 267, 289 and 268 in the early-evening Commercial League. It was his fourth career 800.

The 289 second game was all strikes except that Krupski left up the 8-pin on his second ball in the 10th frame, and he finished with a spare.

Colasurdo, who was the previous leader with a 793, dropped to second place on Board. The 802 series was accomplished in the later-evening Two-Hundred League, and it had a 300 first game. More
