Bears put T Miller on IR

The Chicago Bears placed offensive tackle Fred Miller on injured reserve Saturday with a shoulder problem.

Miller appeared in six games this season for Chicago, playing mostly on special teams. The 13-year veteran has also played for the Rams (1996-99) and Titans (2000-04).

In a corresponding move, the club promoted wide receiver Brandon Rideau from the practice squad to the active roster. More
